About Championship Hearts
Originally created in 1999 as the philanthropic arm of the Austin Heart cardiology group,
Championship Hearts Foundation today is an independent 501(c)3 charitable organization that exists to reach out to our community and fight heart disease by providing programs designed to touch the lives of Central Texans. Our
heart disease programs include Keeping the Beat, a campaign dedicated to educating Central Texans about how to use automated external defibrillators (AEDs). We also offer free student heart screenings to Central Texas student athletes.
