Championship Hearts Foundation (formerly Austin Heart Foundation) was originally created in 1999 as the philanthropic arm of the Austin Heart cardiology group, a practice of 43 cardiologists in Central Texas.
Today, Championship Hearts Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 charitable organization that exists to reach out to our community and fight heart disease by providing programs designed to touch the lives of Central Texans.
Thus far, the foundation has taken an active role in the community providing youth athlete screenings, educational seminars, and an education and awareness campaign about Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), all at no cost to the public.
To make Central Texas a model community for preventing death from cardiovascular disease.
Championship Hearts Foundation is committed to reducing cardiovascular disease in Central Texas by promoting education, awareness and life-saving technology.
Heart disease is the #1 killer of Texans. Championship Hearts Foundation continues to work towards our goal of making Central Texas a model community for preventing death from cardiovascular disease.
Championship Hearts Foundation is excited about the direction in which we are embarking, and we would like to welcome the community to join us in our fight against heart disease.
